About Melissa Waine

Who I am

I'm Melissa Waine, a Sydney-based health and medical communication consultant with 18 years of specialist experience. I work with organisations across Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States to translate complex science, health and medical information into clear, credible, accessible and strategically positioned content.

 

My academic background — a Bachelor of Science (Honours, First Class) in molecular biology and a Bachelor of Commerce in economics from the University of New South Wales — gives me a rare dual lens: scientific rigour paired with strategic communication thinking. I am a member of the Australasian Medical Writers Association (AMWA).
